JobResponsibilities

• Examineand diagnosevehicles
• Discussrepairs with shop foreman or serviceadvisor
• Communicateadditional service requests to serviceadvisor
• Planwork procedures in cooperation with shopforeman
• Providelabor time estimates to serviceadvisor
• Monitorrepair time and update service advisorregularly
• Maintainstrict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care andoperation
• Completestory and / or documentation for clientrepairs
• Assistin mentoring techniciantrainees
• Attendcompany and factorytraining
• Keepcurrent with factory technicalbulletins

Requirements

Educationand / orExperience

• Highschool diploma or GED (general equivalencydiploma)
• Manufacturercertificationpreferred
• Experiencewith various brandspreferred
